Question / Help My new capture card won't work with the latest version with OBS studio

Good evening!
Today, my Razer Ripsaw HD just shipped and straight out the box I started having issues. Here they are in order.

My first problem was that everytime I would change some settings in the video capture device category, the preview would just freeze and I also wouldn't be able to record gameplay on my PS4.
And that leads me to the bread and butter of this whole ordeal: Having found an "exploit" (rebooting my pc and starting OBS right away) with which I was able to record, I bumped into the second main issue: No audio whatsoever in my clips (neither microphone audio, nor audio from the PS4).
I also appealed to a Razer customer support employee who helped me, god bless her soul, to come to the conclusion that my Capture card is working perfectly (I tried it out on a laptop that didn't even have USB 3.0 and it worked without the shenanigans I had to deal with on my tower pc). We tried different things like messing around with the preview screen and removing/adding new video capture devices but to no end. She did come up with turning back on the access of apps to the camera which I guess had some sort of effect. I also went through some driver restorations and that also made it possible for my computer to at least detect the Ripsaw in OBS.

But I still have the same blank screen that won't get me anywhere

Also I would like to work on graphical improvement for my recordings as on my first instance of being able to record I managed to pull it off although everything was blurry and slightly pixelated. Thus I am open to any advice on that as well.

With these problems in mind, I would like whoever can to help me!

Thank you in advance! Stay safe!

UPDATE: It turns out it works very well on my nintendo switch without any issues whatsoever not even the ones I mentioned in the discussion. Do feel free to advise, however.
