My mic audio ducks when anyone is talking.

Hi, I have been using OBS to record gameplay, and most the times my friends are there in a Discord vc, and whenever they talk (which is alot) my mic audio ducks HEAVILY, sometimes unintelligible with how quiet it gets. Someone please help.

Make sure that auto-gain adjustment is disabled in Discord. If you aren't running any filters on your mic in OBS, OBS won't be causing this.
You can also search for Sound in the start menu, go to the Communications tab, and select Do Nothing:

That can lower OBS' sound itself in the mixer, which can have odd effects.
