Question / Help My Gaming Experience Is Lagging, But The Final Project Is Fine!

I've been having this issue since i got OBS.

I don't have any clue to why this is happening, but when i start recording/have OBS open in the background, my game starts lagging.
Even tho, my fps is fine, it just feels chuppy and really not smooth.
But when the project is rendered, its completely fine. No lag, no nothing. Fine.
But when i open obs, my game just starts lagging.

OBS and your game both need GPU resources. If the recording is fine, that means that OBS is getting the resources it needs, but your game is not.

The usual suggestions are to adjust your frame size, frame rate, and game FPS so that both have enough resources to achieve the desired result.
