My Game is running 300+ fps but feels like 90

I am recording Minecraft gameplay at 1080p 120fps. My video files seem to run at a smooth 120 fps. i use a 144 hz monitor btw

(capping my fps did not fix it, disabling live preview did not fix it, and changing to game capture did nothing )
