Here's my comp's specs:
- Windows 10 Anniversary, 64bit
- Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake Processor 4.0GHz
- ASUS Z170-A ATX DDR4 Motherboard
- CORSAIR DOMINATOR Platinum 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
I have changed the encoding setting to use the NVIDIA card to encode rather than the cpu, seems to have helped a little but I'm still having problems. I am running 3 monitors but it's not like my FPS is dropping in-game, only stutters on the stream. I have OBS Studio 64bit.
The only thing I can think of is my webcam might be throttling things. I have the common Logitech 1080p one but I also use Tridef Smart Cam to give me the head/shoulders view. I have a homemade green screen behind me, but the lighting isn't great so I opted for TriDef as it works better.
Given the specs of my machine, I would fully expect to be able to stream just fine, but that's not the case... Any settings to try adjusting or other suggestions you can think of? It's been very frustrating after dropping a lot of money with streaming in mind. Thanks in advance for any thoughtful input!
