Question / Help My Capture Card (El Gato) is NOT showing in OBS

Basically everything I have to say about it is in the title.. I'm opening up OBS, I have the whole thing set up right. Nice overlays and everything is pretty, but then I'm trying to add my Capture card as a Video Device and it's not showing. My Webcam is showing in the drop down menu, but not my Capture card. It's not open in any other software. When I try opening the El Gato software my capture card shows immediately. Help

As posted in many other threads, Elgato does not provide OSX drivers. You'll need to display or window capture Elgato's own preview window to use it with OBS under Mac OSX.

"[SOLVED] Elgato under OBS OSX"

and the solution is "return it." Might save a lot of time.

I tried that too, but the display in the El Gato software is fine, but it's laggy af in OBS. It's like 4 frames per second there.
