MW3 Party/Game Chat will not play through unless I use Desktop Audio

I currently have my game audio, spotify audio and discord audio separated. However, you can't hear when people are talking in MW3 except for me because it picks up my mic. How can I get it to play through OBS without having to use desktop audio? I don't want my spotify to send to my Twitch, so I can't use desktop audio for the game.
