Question / Help Muxer or Handbrake or BOTH

Hey guys, first off, thanks everyone for being so helpful. I've had some great tips and info given over the past week while trying to get my stream up and running. It is now and I did my first stream last night and it looked FANTASTIC! Streamed through restream to multiple platforms and had great results across the board.

But I'd like to also be uploading my captured video to YouTube so that people can experience it in high def 1080p at 60fps. I've tested an upload before and YouTube seemed to butcher it some I'm wary and looking for suggestions.

Do I use OBS Remuxer or do I use Handbrake or do I use both? I've seen threads stating the 'best settings for youtube" for both of them...

What do you guys recommend?

Here's the VOD from Mixer if you want to see how it turned out https://mixer.com/HotelCharliHill?vod=6020886 A little dark perhaps, but it's lighter on Twitch and youtube for whatever reason. And it still lights up with nice contrast when the shadows are illuminated by gunfire.

OBS' remuxer will not modify the actual audio or video streams, it will only change the container, HOWEVER, youtube is able to accept FLVs straight without any modifications.

Sorry, I should have added that I encoded the captures in MKV (I intend to use multitrack audio so that I can mute tracks in post production if need be)

youtube is capable of using MKVs as well last I checked.
I uploaded an MKV and it was butchered... unless of course it was that my aging 2gb gpu just didn't play it smoothly... (although now that I'm using the onboard intel processer as my GPU, maybe it'd be better.. I'll cehck)

thanks :)
