i want to stream a game so that my friend can hear the audio of the game, currently when i stream he's voice is playing in the stream through discord. is there any way to get rid of this? i have tried following several tutorials but they all seem to end up with all of my desktop sound comming out of my monitor, something i do not want. is there any quick and easy solution or program that can solve this issue?

You need a method of having Discord send audio to a different device than the default, because that is where game audio goes and where OBS picks it up from.
Currently it sounds like the only other place you have to send audio to is your monitor. You may need to install software that provides virtual devices and better control over audio routing if you do not want to use that.
