Musicians using OBS Instrument Question

I am using OBS to stream a live music set with my band. When we are playing in our space our sound is just how we want it, then we go on FB live or other streaming platforms and after our set we watch the playback the bass guitar sounds computery and very digital which is not the sound we are getting streaming out. Has anyone who is a musician/DJ streaming come across this issue and what do you do to solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This often happens when you have a sample rate mismatch. Make sure your sample rate (e.g., 48 kHz) in the audio settings is consistent with the sample rate of your audio interface. It could also be that your computer is working too hard during streaming, and your audio buffer is being overloaded. Those are the first few things I would check in order to troubleshoot.
