I like to listen to Pandora while i stream and i usually wear headphones. What settings do i need to make it so that the music will be heard on my stream coming through my headphones?

Try using Soundflower.
First make sure your volume is up. Then set Soundflower (2ch) as your default system audio output device (opt+click the volume icon and select it), launch Soundflowerbed (from /Applications/Soundflower/) and click the new flower icon in your menubar, and select your normal output from the Soundflower (2ch) heading there (headphones, in this case). Then go into OBS's Audio settings and set it to use Soundflower (2ch) as your Desktop Audio device.

im currently trying to do this. i installed soundflower and i was able to work it so my music is heard by the viewer on their end, but it was muted on my side. obviusly i would like to be able to hear my music too
