Hi everyone,

So I am streaming to twitch with the following settings:
Encoder: NVENC H.264
Rescale Ouput: 1280 x 720
Rate Control: CBR
Bitrate: 3500
Keyframe:0
Preset: Default
Profile: main
Level: auto
Use two pass encoding enabled
GPU: 0
B-Frames: 2

Audio Bitrate on all tracks is 128

Sample rate: 44.1khz
Channels stereo

The game audio and my voice sound just fine but the music which is playing from Spotify sounds like its coming out of a really cheap speaker. I have enabled high quality in Spotify. I am also using a USB sound card.

What am I doing wrong?
Here are a couple of samples:

Thanks!

Windows sample rate also 44.1 Khz?

You can use AAC and rise audio to 160 KBps
To install AAC audio codecs download Apple iTunes installer, but do not run it. Extract the archive with winrar or 7zip and run both 32bit and 64bit installers called AppleApplicationSupport.msi

an observation is to not use Nvenc for streaming swap to x264 software as your bitrate is only 3500 and nvenc will need more to look decent. x264 software is much better with lower birates but the trade off is cpu usage over gpu.

Yeah I used to use my CPU for encoding, but my CPU is really crap (and had the same audio issue btw). 3500 is the max I can set for twitch as I am not partnered.

I will try your suggestion EBrito.

Thanks guys!

R ok then you might have to just accept nvnecs quality until the cpu can be upgraded. Audio wise are you running any virtual audio devices to split the inputs? as you say Audio Bitrate on all tracks is 128 meaning do you have more than the standard

Mic
Audio from pc which would include music, game and team speak?
