Music is muffled from Elgato HD60 X's Audio Input Capture source

Music audio is muffled/static-y (voice audio is fine) with my Audio Input Capture source (HD60 X). To demonstrate, I have uploaded two 30s recordings made in OBS that has audio from two different sources (isolating the audio by muting the other source and vice versa): one uses an Audio Input Capture source, while the other uses a macOS Screen Capture source by using Quicktime to record audio from the capture card. I went into the Nintendo Switch News app and played the same video to compare. I tried increasing the gain on the Audio Input Capture source by a couple of dBs and the music is still intelligible. The screenshots are to confirm the Elgato HD60 X being used as the source.

To clarify, it isn't only music that's garbled; it's sound effects, menu sounds, etc. Essentially, it's everything but the vocals that's not working.

Also, I meant unintelligible oops.

Interesting caveat: sometimes the vocals become extremely low-pitched, but removing and re-adding the Audio Input source turns it back to normal-pitched… but the music is still muffled.

Support hasn't responded to my message in both the Discord and forum so far, so I further troubleshooted with testing different versions of OBS Studio on my Apple Silicon (Ventura) and Intel (Monterey) MacBook Pros. On my Apple Silicon MacBook Pro, 29.9.2 (both Apple Silicon and Intel versions), 28.0.0, and 27.2.4 all have this same problem. However, 29.9.2 (Intel version) and 27.2.4 don't have this problem on my Intel MacBook Pro. Based on this, I think that OBS is not compatible with either Apple Silicon or the Ventura OS. Despite the compatibility, I'm not going to use my Intel MacBook Pro since it sometimes randomly crashes and shuts down, which isn't ideal for streaming.

I then tried to see if StreamLabs also has this problem with the latest Apple systems. Fortunately, it doesn't and the Audio Input Capture sounds what it's suppose to sound like. Unfortunately, it's not as lightweight and pushes its other products in its UI... I guess until this bug is fixed in OBS, I'm going to use StreamLabs.
