Multitrack audio with AVI?

I know the changelog lists the formats you can currently use multitrack audio with, but are there any plans to support multitrack audio in an AVI container?

I just ask because I using ffmpeg and HuffYUV has proven to be the best performing combination for me, but multitrack audio would be the absolute killer.
