Hello guys, In twitch, in video, i can choose "settings" and then choose "video quality". So. How can i stream 2 video quality through OBS?

Hi Kopengagen,

if i understand correctly and as far as i know: as a small/new streamer you don't have additional video quality settings, just your source. The additional qualities you know from more popular streamers are coming from twitch itself.

So, i don't know of different quality settings through OBS. When i stream regularly, the different quality settings will appear automatically.

I hope that helps you.

You stream with one setting, for example 1280x720x30 fps.
What you ask for is transcoding to other qualities.
As Darkcrab said, this is made by Twitch for partners or when you get more than 80 viewers. Then, source selection is available.

Thank for responding I know about twitch fiture with partners, So. When i look at guys with 4 vievers and 9 follows like it http://clip2net.com/clip/m0/e9b67-clip-247kb.jpg?nocache=1 i can still see "quality change". It is not all streamers have this, but, how i can see, no all of them who have this option have partner with twitch.

Hi,

I've seen Twitch recently provide this to non-partners / low viewers. I'm not sure if things have changed or if they now have more ingress capacity with more transcoding horse power. This could be a benefit of being part of Amazon now given they have a massive cloud hosting platform.

I've heard that transcoding is available if the ingress servers aren't that busy but as they reach capacity this is priorities to partners, though I've not seen this for myself.
