Question / Help Multiple Cams Different Locations

Hello and thank you for great software.

Maybe you can please help.....

We would like to set up a split screen using two cams on different computers in different states for a podcast and have no idea how to set this up. Any help is greatly appreciated. I cant find this anywhere.

I'm no expert in OBS but I sorta did what you want to do using an RTMP server to send video to Facebook Live.
I am old school and have a Window 8.1 Nokia phone. I was curious to see if I could get this to work. I used Larix Broadcaster and it actually worked! But the lag was quite long, like nearly 10 seconds! So beware of that.

I did this once:
- I set up an nginx server at my place and make it available through my firewall/router
- My friend sets my server as his stream destination
- My OBS picks up his stream from the server as a video source
- I add my own cam to it

We used Skype without webcam to talk to avoid the delay you get.

But yes, Capturing Skype would be a LOT simpler :)
Just be sure to start Skype before OBS so OBS doesn't lock your webcam.
