I'm using a Mac Studio and trying to run two cam links through the USB 2.0's on the back of the computer while also running another audio interface. I can't get the second cam link to work. Is there a workaround for this or a better approach to try?
Do you have any free ports besides the other USB-A? You could connect a USB 3.1 type C-to-USB-A hub to it and plug the 2nd Camlink in there. You can't really change the BUS that a USB ports is connected to--it's determined by the manufacturer--but you have more than one bus to choose from if you have both thunderbolt and USB ports on your machine.
Add three Thunderbolt and four USB ports, Ethernet, audio, and card reader functionality to all M1/M2 Macs, Thunderbolt-equipped Macs, and Thunderbolt 4 PCs.

And then ran one capture card through that and another through the USB on the back side it should work, right? Even with running an audio interface through one of those as well.
That should work as long as everything else can keep up. How many displays are you using, and how are they attached? What resolution are you using on the camlinks?
