-multi -> Profile name is not showing

Hi,

id like to point out that if u use -multi with obs, profile names are not showing in windows and it makes it impossible to know which is which to setup proper audio channels

Is there a fix for it or can it be fixed?

its not a OBS problem did you SEE the ............ windows shorts it in the sound settings !

kinda is OBS problem, when u know windows does it, why do such a LONG name?
Expecting windows changing their aproach to something is not a solution at all.
It doesnt make sense.

Also if you open one instance of OBS, you get name "OBS Studio" short one, why not when using -multi just do "OBS Studio: profile_name"

I'd wild-guess Windows UI Scaling is making the text larger, on your system.

Can you tell me what resolution and scale u using?
Because i have tried all possible resolutions and none of them gave me same result as urs did.

Ask Microsoft, because OBS has no control over how it is displayed by other apps.

Well OBS can make it smaller is what i would prefer, because how can i "ask microsoft".... ?

Press Start, then search for "Feedback Hub".
