Hi i am using a maya44 xte in my mac pro recording setup, for other programs recoring works great, but when i use obs i just can't use it for recording, the card has a strnge inputs setup, because it has 4 chennels divided in 2 groups: 1&2 group and 2&3 group, obs does detect only one channel which does not works i have to mention that in the system settings only one "option" is shown in the inputs for this card, but in obs it just shows the device with one channel which is not working i have tryed everithing from the midi configuration app and other programs and also from the card's settings panel proivvided by the manifacturer, i have also contacted the manifacturer and they say that it's not a card or driver issue but an obs issue, so i am asking here, can you help me and maybe release a fix in the next version of obs? i have also tested this with a couple of similar usb and pcie cards whics all have multichannel inputs in the mac driver and they gives me the same problem, so i thougth it's an issue sof obs.

You have chosen Stereo under audio setup. You may be able to see the additional channels if you select 4.0 there. This is a new feature.

I developped the multichannel features for obs.
So it happens I have the ESI ESP1010e which has the same chip as your MAYA XTE (and more channels 8 in 8 out); on windows I do see the 4 pairs.
You don't have to select 4.0 in Settings > Audio for that.
Your maya would be detected as 2 stereo devices in windows; can't say under mac because drivers for my card do not exist.
What seems odd to me already is that under System Settings > Sound > Capture in macOS,you capture shows a single device MAYA44XTE and not 2 devices for the 2 stereo pairs.
Also in the audio and midi setup app, in your capture card you can't select both stereo pairs.
Seems to me a limitation of your driver.
What does reaper show ?
If it captures the 4 inputs, I would use reaper.
Install Jack and route audio to obs through jack.
The advantage is that reaper is more powerful for audio processing and VST are more stable.
PM me for further troubleshooting.

Is there a working and supported version of Jack on MacOS? I use it on Linux but was never able to get it to run on MacOS past Mavericks.
