Question / Help Multi adapter comparability

i have just started using obs studio and i wanted to know what the multi-adapter comparability does. i have dual sli 760s and was wondering if i enabling this option will have any effect on my stream ? or if it is requried at all as my stream still runs fine without in on
 
It's multi adapter COMPATIBILITY not COMPARABILITY
And if you're not having capture problems, you probably don't need it.
