Muddy audio coming from the desktop recording

Pretty much the title, the audio recorded from the desktop is extremely muddy. Not sure if related but it also seems to be bound to the windows general audio, as in, if I lower the windows general audio so does OBS' desktop recording, however I am more bothered by the muddy audio for now. I include here an example of one of my recordings and another recording from someone else to show the difference in audio.

I forgot to mention, I also get the muddy audio from bandicamp but the audio is fine with the built in windows video recorder that you turn on with WindowsKey + G
