Hi all,
This one is a tough one, I've spent a few hours on this and am still not coming right.
Used ccleaner to remove windows.old files, and I am now unable to start OBS and 1 other app.
The error I get is "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application."
When using Process Monitor and trying to launch OBS to see which file cannot be accessed, it shows 2 files with ACCESS DENIED issues, Explorer trying to point to a registry key (which is default and has no values) and OBS which is pointing to a .dll by the name of msvcr120.dll which has to do with the Microsoft C Runtime Library.
I have replaced the .dll file, I have reinstalled all the Visual C++ redistributables, I have checked the permissions on the .dll , I've reinstalled OBS, I've run system file checker, I've tried switching the PC off and on again... I don't want to format and reload if I can avoid it.
Anybody out there with the know-how? I've been in IT support for 7 years and between that and Google I'm still not coming right. Please help! I've included the last log file that it made but I highly doubt it will help since it doesn't even get into OBS.
