Moving a Image or playing Video To Music Beat?

Have you ever played with Magic Visualizer? It allows you to define a song and the program will move an image to the beat of a song. The program can also change the play speed of a video to the beat of a song.

Do you know of any plugin, script or tool that can accomplish this? If yes, can you point me in the right direction?
