Mostly Intermittent Black Screen But Cameras Fine In Photo Booth

I can only get the cameras to show up probably 2-3 times for every 10 tries. I have uninstalled OBS, deleted settings several times (User>Library>Application Support>obs-studio), installed older versions of OBS, Deleted and re-added the cameras, double checked settings in Security & Privacy in settings. Sometimes if I delete the cameras (2 total) and re-add them they show up... or 1 will show up and not the other. Sometimes I relaunch the app and both (if I'm lucky) or neither show up. Like I said, they both show up in Photo Booth 100% of the time.

Cameras: Logitech Brio and Depstech 4k
Plugged into a Sabrent USB-A 10-Port hub
Mac 14" M1 Pro 10-core 16 Bit Graphics 16Gb RAM
Monterey 12.2.1
OBS version: 27.2.0

Oh I also have tried all different ports using USB-C cables connected directly to the computer and was using an Anker Thunderbolt 4 Hub as well but cut that out because none of it seemed to make any difference.

I think I've got it now. I had to go to Settings>Advanced and under Sources section, untick 'Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration'. I don't 100% know what this means. The "browser" part throws me off. I toggled it back on and re-messed everything up but fixed it again by: unticking the box, restarting the program, shutting down the computer, unplugging the USB Hub's power source & restarting to computer.

To clarify earlier when I said Mac 14" that means 2021 MacBook Pro 14". It's new and I've only had it for a little under a week.
