I took two color cameras for the left eye in the right eye and dialed the color saturation to negative 1.00
That has got a perfect picture of what I want for the black and white information to be converted into black and red. I just want anywhere in this picture in a second process anywhere it sees white turn it to red and anywhere it sees black keep it black.
But I can't seem to find any way to turn white into red.
And obviously the white camera would be turned from black and white to black and cyan.
I'm trying to process it twice once to turn color into monochrome and then another time to turn monochrome into colored monochrome.
Then finally I want to superimpose them in an RGB additive situation so that they are the same picture from two different perspectives with the left eye being red and the right eye being cyan.
If I try to color correct this black and white picture into red the white parts get right or two which is not supposed to happen.
I also see things like luma key chroma key and chroma correction, but I have no idea what to do in step 2, when step one removed 100% of the color saturation to give a monochrome picture.
