Monitoring audio not working with SSL 2+ interface (but works with built-in Realtek card)?

Hello all, my first post here.
I recently bought a SSL 2+ usb card which I am very happy with.
However, I would like to get monitoring from my sound card, to my speakers / headphones.
When I select my SSL 2+ as a Monitoring device, I get no audio (although the sound bar is moving, so I can see there is audio)
However, when I plug my headphones to the desktop and select on-board card as Monitoring device, it works.

So my question: is there a particular thing why SSL 2+ isn't friends with my OBS?
Maybe something to do with ASIO drivers? Anybody has a solution?
Thanks :)

Have you tried just simply to restart obs after changing the monitoring device. My focusrite has sometime problem with obs after changing the monitoring device that there's just no sound, restarting obs fixes it usually. Double check that the monitoring is turned on for the sources.
Other than that, no idea what might be the cause.

Hello all
I am too using the SSL 2+ USB. My issue is that I can't run my input (H4N pro) through the SSL even though it seems all settings are correct.
I can see the signal going in on the SSL and I can hear it through my speakers but nothing in OBS
