Is there an easy way to monitor/preview the audio exactly as it's sent to the stream? The monitor option in the advanced audio properties lets you add individual sources to the monitor but not the final mix that is sent to the stream (corresponding to the video preview). More importantly, the adjustable audio delay is only applied to the stream mix, not to the monitor mix (found it out the hard way, since it's not mentioned anywhere), which makes adjusting the delay very tedious. I'd have to record some video locally and watch it back, or start a (test-)stream and watch the stream through the destination website which has many seconds delay and makes you wait that long each time you want to test the a/v sync with a different delay setting. I have to tune the delay regularly (before each stream, not mid-stream, thankfully) because the camera source (wifi) doesn't have a consistent delay.
Is there a way to get an "instant" local preview of the stream after muxing and encoding? Or is there a local stream server tool with minimal stream latency exactly for this purpose that I can use as a test stream to adjust the audio delay before it goes live? Maybe there is a smarter way altogether to dial in the audio delay, I'm all ears...
