Hi there,
New to OBS, but have used wirecast and many other of the big paid programs - what I'm trying to do is monitor the audio that is actually going out on the stream.
Use case: I have 3 scenes
1 - Intro slide or video w/music
2 - ATEM Mini taking feed from camera/audio board - main event
3 - Outro Bumper w/music
On the broadcast machine running OBS, I always hear the audio from Scene 2, even if I'm in scene 1 or 3. If I'm listening to the stream itself, Everything is correct though - when I go from scene 2 to scene 3, the scene 2 audio fades out and the scene 3 audio comes in - but I still hear 2 on the broadcast machine.
It seems like my only options in the advances audio panel are:
- Monitor off (don't want that)
- Monitor only (also no good)
- Monitor & Output (but then the audio is always live)
In wirecast, there's an option to monitor inputs or outputs separately (or together) - is this something I'm just missing in OBS?
