I have a DESKTOP PC (not laptop) which has 3 monitors connected to it. 2 monitors connect to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and the third to the built in intel graphics adapter on an Aorous Z270X Gamming K5 motherboard (Intel HD Graphics 630).
On the GeForce I have a 4K Samsung TV connected to the HDMI port, and an LG ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor connected to the display port. On the Intel on-board graphics from the mother board I have a Benq 1920x1080 monitor connected. All 3 displays are working simultaneously and I have no issues with the setup.
When I try to record using the latest version of OBS Studio (v 23.1.0 64 bits) and several previous versions, I have never been able to record the output of the display from the intel graphics card (the Benq monitor). The display does not even show up when trying to add a display capture, only the displays connected to the GeForce.
As you can see from the log file, the second adapter (Adapter 2) is showing up and is recognized, but it just won´t let me select that display to record from it.
In this case, the NVidia Control Panel does not give you the option to tell OBS to use an alternate graphics card, since this is not a laptop.
I´ve been at it for some months, and haven´t found the solution, so I am asking for hints, help, ideas as to what to try, since it is getting old and frustrating to always have to swith resolutions on the ultrawide monitor to record the desktop in FHD mode, plus I am always having to do desktop cleaning (removing files I leave on the desktop) before I start recording.
So guys and gals, any help would be greatly appreciated since this Big Ogre feels like a donkey in respect to this issue!
