Mixxx, OBS and VB Audio Cable

Hello,
Using a 2018 Intel Mac Mini with Catalina Mac OS. Mem is 64 GB.

I am trying to setup to do an online stream to a casting website.
I have been able to configure MIxxx to send it's output to VB Audio cable, where the audio shows incoming on the control panel.
I do not see any output audio in the VB Audio Cable control panel. (VB Audio Cable 1.0.8)
OBS does not stream any audio, but does show "audio input capture" in the Audio Mixer column, but does not indicate any audio in the "VU Meter".
In settings under the Audio menu, VB-Cable is set as the Monitoring Device.
In advanced audio properties, the Audio Input Capture shows Active.
Audio Monitoring is set to "Monitor and Output".

Seems to me this should work, but no audio passes to OBS. (OBS Studio 26.1.2)
VB Audio Cable's settings only adjust latency.

I found the solution to this issue myself. Those of you using Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) should be aware of Apple's "sand-boxing" of apps.
You have to allow Apps access too certain things on your Mac in the "Privacy and Security" control panel, under system preferences.
Check System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Microphone to make sure your audio application has microphone access.
• Check that the volume is all the way up on (your app's) output in Audio Midi Setup.
• If you are using a multi-output device, due to issues with MacOS, a 2ch audio driver must be enabled and listed as the top device in the Multi-Output.

This will enable your audio routing's output to function.
Have a nice day!!

I had to clarify a few things, so this is a revised copy:

(In this discussion the audio routing app is VB Audio Cable).

• If you are using a multi-output device, due to issues with MacOS,
a 2ch audio driver must be enabled and listed as the top device in the Multi-Output.

This will enable your audio routing app's output to function.
