I am currently running two HD (1080) cameras in OBS (through two separate Magewell HDMI to USB3 encoder boxes), and would like to add a third camera as a very small picture-in-picture of an arena scoreboard clock that would remain over all shots.
I have a SD camcorder (480) with USB out, and was wondering if I can add it to the stream with the HD cameras? Will OBS accept the different resolutions of the cameras and still output as 1080?
We want to see if this can work because (1) we already have the SD camera, (2) to avoid the expense of a third Magewell box and third HD camera, and (3) we don't know if our PC will handle three HD camera inputs at one time and the thought is that the lower-resolution SD camera would be a smaller load on the system, and (4) I need to buy a new power cord for the SD camera and won't waste my time if this won't work!
