Question / Help Mixed results with different games

Ive been using OBS for a couple of months now, mostly because I cant get Nvidias shadowplay to work with my new rig for some unfixable reason. But after getting used to OBS I find it much better. But theres some stuff I cant get around fixing or Im just doing something wrong.

Im running OBS in Simple mode, no fiddling in output settings after reading suggestions that should eliminate unsmooth playback, capped framerate at 60 and vsync on/off, playback is smooth for some games but others when playing with vsync and 60fps is just not doable, horrible input lag. Before I fiddled with every possible setting but results were always the same, just doing the above fixed the unsmooth playback. So guys, maybe you know something I dont know, or something else I could try out?

Im on i9 9900k, 32gb ram, 1080ti, win10, latest drivers and so on.

Im runing 2560x1440, 165hz, game capped at 162 with limiter, vsync off and stock settings in obs. Ive read before this isnt the greatest combo for a good replay vid, I get that, since I experienced it myself. Vids arent that bad, just no that smooth as they should.

Thanks for taking the time

Thank you, playback is smoother. I uploaded a new obs log, can you check if its as it should be?

Looks mostly okay there.
We may have to switch you to advanced output mode to turn off psycho visual tuning.

Psycho visual tuning is an advanced nvidia function that runs on shared components of the video card, unlike the main nvenc encoder which runs on dedicated components.
