I have had this problem since upgrading to version 20.0.1 (previously was version 13 I think). I have a profile that I created before that has the window already captured, and it works and shows an open lock icon, but if I try to open another window capture, Safari windows don't show up. Show windows with empty names shows menubar windows, but still no Safari.
It turns out it's not just Safari:
OBS, Terminal, Slack, Hitfilm 4 Express, Dock, and Window Server windows show up.
None of Twitter, Maps, Messages, Aquamacs, Pages, Discord, Preview, Keynote, Spark, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome are in the list to be chosen.
OSX Version 10.11.6
