I apologize ahead of time if I'm posting it in the wrong place. I'm currently using OBS Studio v.24.0.0-rc3 (64-bit.) It has a new feature that allows to pause screen recording. It is a major improvement in my view over the last version that did not allow pausing.
There's just one option/feature missing in the UI. Say, when recording in on, I can pause it with a hot key (without displaying the OBS window.) I usually keep the system tray icon on so that I can see if my screen is being recorded:
Unfortunately though, if I pause the recording (also with a hot key) that tray icon does not change, so there's absolutely no easy way to know if the recording was indeed paused, aside from bringing up the main OBS window. (Which even there is not very clearly marked in the pause button.) So in that case if I bring up the main OBS window, I will mess up the flow of my recording, which will require further editing (that I was trying to avoid with the use of the pause feature in OBS in the first place.)
Thus a request. Can you please add an icon in the system tray that will indicate that the recording has been paused vs. it being on. Here's one as an example:
