Question / Help Missing frames when recording video from USB capture

Currently trying to back up content from about 100 VHS tapes I acquired using a Dazzle DVC100 USB capture.Input and output are both the same resolution and my settings are set to medium which is well within what my laptop is capable of.

Here is the specs of my laptop:
Dell - Inspiron 17R-5720 - Intel Quad-Core i7-3632QM 2.20GHz - 12GB RAM - 1TB HDD nvidia geforce gt 630m

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can make smooth backups.
