I got 2 PC setup. A streamer and a gamer PC.
I set 3 Text sources and 1 Image in my OBS (streamer PC) and the files are on the gamer PC. In case, the files could be not found (gamer PC not turned on, or it is really missing), OBS waits with the read till timeout happens. And this is a lot of time. The problem is, that OBS drops frames till the timeout happens:
The frames missed due to rendering lag problem happens in every 10-20 seconds and blocks OBS rendering for like 30 seconds.
Haha...I just restarted OBS and got this popup blocked by the problem mentioned above:
It would be great, that OBS after found out that the file is not available, will not look after it till I do not restart OBS or till I do not say do refresh. Maybe at start time we could have a button for that.
Or, it just should not block rendering...that would be more better! :)
I uploaded a log file (record only, not streamed), but the problem I think is not in the log. However: https://obsproject.com/logs/I_QumtwFwPzJryVK
Thank you!
