Question / Help Missing Components Upon Install Need Help

So I just downgraded to Windows 7 from Windows 8 (I personally think it's an upgrade though :P) due to technical issues with new hardware. So I am trying to reinstall OBS on my Windows 7 64 bit. Every time I try installing the latest version (19.0.2) or 19.0.1, I get the following message:

"Your system is missing runtime components that OBS Studio requires. Please make sure to install both vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86. Would you like to download them?"

If I click Yes to download them, it brings me to a page that no longer hosts the files, so I Googled them and downloaded them that way. I installed both x64 and x86, restarted my PC, redownloaded and reinstalled the installer and I get the same message.

I've tried everything I can think of. Is there anything I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi !

I ran into this exact problem today, trying to set up OBS.

Could you add in the pop-up message that the application needs the 2013 versions of vc_redist ?
I installed 2015, then 2008, then 2010 before nearly giving up and finding this thread.

MS moved the download pages, it's really difficult to find the files now, thanks for the link provided in the thread.
