Question / Help Missing Audio

Im using OBS to stream to FB and using NDI to stream to another pc that restreams to Restream. FB stream has sound. The channels who get stream from Restream are muted.

I can see clearly that the VU meter moves correctly on both instances of OBS.

The second PC with the second instance of OBS seems to cut the audio even though the VU meters are working. I have had audio working at some point earlier.

Is the VU indicating received (inoput) audio or transmitted (output audio) ? Can the second OBS mute the audio by incorrect audio settings? Or is NDI input restreamed as a complete package?
 
NDI output only sends track 1. So if the track you're streaming from on the other machine is streaming a different track, it's possible you're getting the audio in to that machine, but not out.
 
Thanks - I already checked that. I get a lot of spooky error messages atm. with long cryptic codes that doesn't really make sense to me, so Im going to reinstall OBS and NDI and see what happens.
 
After reinstalling there were still no sound and I checked and double checked all settings and after some tiem the audio was back. Don't know what made the difference as I didn't really change anything after reinstall...
