I am planning a new PC build, currently, for the past 7+ years I have been happily gaming in 4k with my old 3rd gen intel CPU and dual 1080ti in sli, but when I dropped down from using a 4k@60hz monitor to a 1440p@144hz monitor when my monitor died I found that i started having issues with my CPU pegging off 100% usage and often causes unplayable sessions, requiring me to turn down settings drastically.
I have been waiting for the release of Zen 2 to make my decision on my next CPU for my next gaming system and decided to read up on what it would take to stream gaming to make my choice on my next gaming rig and was thinking of recycling my old gaming rig CPU/Mobo/RAM/SSD and turn it into a 2nd system to be used in a 2 system streaming setup. Just unsure if the hardware is capable to be used in this manner. It still functions well and proper, just would be replaced in the upgrade and the resale value of the items is nearly nothing.
Was leaning on going the route of a AMD 3900x system for my new gaming rig after researching the reviews.... and use the 3570k as my 2nd system in an NDI setup.
