Minecraft crashing when OBS is open and game capture selected

Whenever i'm playing minecraft and i have OBS open (not necessarily recording or streaming) alt tabbing out and into the game will often result in a crash. This has been going on only for a few days, haven't found other people with the same issue. Toggling anti-cheat compatibility hook doesn't help. Having the scene set to screen capture rather than game capture doesn't result in crashing
