Hello,

I have downloaded OBS Studio to try it out, but I can't get FSX to show on the software while the game is running

Here is the Game capture screen that I used on OBS normal

Here is the simulator running

Here is the properties set in the Game Capture

Both are running as admin.
I don't want to run as a window capture.
I am also running FSX with the DX10 Fixer

FSX works on OBS Normal.

Thanks

Try again with OBS Studio 0.16.1. There were some fixes to how game capture works on Windows. When you do try that, please upload a complete log file if you're still having issues. To get a complete log file:
  1. Open OBS Studio.
  2. Start recording.
  3. Wait 30-60 seconds.
  4. Stop recording.
  5. Upload the current log file (Help Menu > Log Files > Upload Current Log file).

Hmm. Your log file still doesn't show a video adapter. What do you have in your computer for a graphics card? Also, uncheck the "Multi-adapter Compatibility" option in Game Capture.

Your screenshot of the game capture properties in your initial post showed it checked.

What renderer do you have selected in OBS Studio's Advanced Settings? It should be set to Direct3D 11.

Hello,

The screenshots before that was auto ticked when I selected the game capture,
I had the OpenGL selected before and now switched it to Direct3D 11

01:26:26.116: User added source 'Test2' (game_capture) to scene 'Test'
01:26:32.701: [game-capture: 'Test2'] attempting to hook process: fsx.exe
It still doesn't show a successful hook. Have you tried FSX without the DX10 Fixer? Are you running any other capture software, such as the ones below?
Conflicts with Game Capture: Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.

Hello,

I haven't tried it without DX10 as I want to keep the fixer as it makes the sim look nicer.
I use Razer Synapse for my keyboard lighting I don't use the Heatmaps

I will give the fixer a try

Without DX10 Fixer it captures, But I want it with DX10 Fixer
