TL;DR I want to save my microphone settings even when they are unavailable.
I google searched this and I can't find anything. Whenever I unplug my microphones, they appear as unavailable (as I would expect), but when I plug them back in, I need to reassign them, and it's kind of annoying. Is there any way to save microphone assignments even when the microphone is not available? I work on my laptop, so I often have to unplug everything and plug it back in and it'd be nice to not have to go through the extra step.
