Question / Help Microphone Pitch

I'm coming from XSplit's Gamecaster (free), and I noticed that OBS raises the pitch of my voice in recording output considerably (my voice isn't very deep to begin with). I'm wondering if I'm missing an advanced setting somewhere that can fix that without dropping the pitch of the game I'm recording? Or perhaps a plugin that would help? I'm operating on a simple laptop microphone, and I tried using the setup for that first, but it just calibrates for volume, not pitch...

This typically can be caused by resampling from 48 KHz to 44.1. If it is just your mic that is doing it I would check the Windows Sound Properties/Advanced for that recording device and ensure it matches your audio settings for OBS-MP

That seems to have worked. Changing to 48KHz made the recording sound much more like other places I've heard my voice, like recorded Xbox messages. Thanks a ton!
