Microphone picking up sound, but not streaming to Twitch.

Hey, so i'm trying to stream on twitch and the audio is good i can stream desktop audio and everything,
but when i try and speak the OBS picks up the audio and the bar goes up, but the audio isn't streaming to the website and i can't hear myself.
