Hello Forum dwellers,
I've ran across a problem with OBS, as the title states: My Microphone is simply not working, but only in OBS.
Windows' microphone test shows input, Audacity works perfectly fine and so does everything else for that matter.
I'm using a RØDE NT-1 with the AI-1 Interface.
Also ran a little test to exclude a visual GUI bug in the Audio Mixer by recording my desktop whilst talking,
playing the recording (with the correct audio track) revealed that there was indeed no microphone input.
Here's the Log
A few things that aren't the problem:
- Push to talk key is off.
- OBS is re-installed and updated at the same time just to be sure.
- Microphone output in windows is not on 0% volume.
- OBS is not muted in Windows Volume mixer
- Microphone is not muted in OBS Audio Mixer UI.
- Microphone is not set to Default.
- Microphone input has a track assigned.
- No Audio filters on Microphone input, removed all of them just to be sure.
- Audio settings have the AI-1 set for Mic/Auxiliary Audio.
- Audio drivers are up to date.
- Exclusive mode is not on, windows recognizes that OBS uses the Microphone and shows the little mic icon.
- Full power down of PC, including power drain for good measure.
At this point I'm pretty sure it's either some hilariously embarrassing thing I'm simply overlooking or Windows simply being wacky.
Any help would be appreciated.
