So about half a year ago I recorded some videos and I had everything working just fine.
For the last couple of days, I've been wanting to stream, but ran into a snag with my microphone.
The problem is, OBS does not seem to register any sound with my microphone.
I've checked a couple of other threads, but none really apply to me. Perhaps the log shows something I missed. I have checked Windows privacy settings regarding the mic.
It's a really particular problem, as other programs (Teamspeak, or even windows itself) do register sound with it. Also in OBS, I can switch to my webcam mic and that does work, for some reason. The microphone I'm using is the same as half a year ago when it did work and is just a regular plug-and-play USB mic.
As you can perhaps see in the log, I have a noise gate applied, but even removing that doesn't solve anything.
