Question / Help Microphone Issue only when LIVE.

The best way I can show or describe anything in regards to the problem is with a video.

I just realised that the audio on the clip cuts out, basically everything works fine in preview mode. BUT when I go live and try to alt tab into a game the mic just dies and in the recording panel as well.

the MIC only EVER crashes when I'm live on OBS studio.

Double capture of your headset, no problems detected within obs for the mic.

This is very strange, I've disabled the other capture for the headset but still the same problem :(

Are you able to try without that headset plugged in (at least temporarily)?

@Harold Ok so I plugged in my other headset and now I ran into another issue. My mic and headset both work FINE LIVE when the webcam is off but when its ON the mic dies like last time.

Then you're overloading the usb ports on your system and may need a dedicated usb card to run all your usb devices.

But I would skype for hours at a time with all my current USB devices running, why would OBS be any different?
