Question / Help Microphone is not working.

Hello OBS support team.
Recently, I've wanted to move from my capture software to OBS Studio.
But I'm getting a really strange problem.
The microphone is detected in OBS, but the program won't capture the microphone.
Instead of my voice, I'm hearing a really loud, strange sound.
The microphone is working perfectly in other programs, but not in OBS (I've tried the other OBS, still got the same problem).
I hope you guys will help me solve my problem!

P.S: The microphone type is USB.

try different USB port (such as Keyboard/Mouse specific). What a model of the mic? (to avoid it on shelves)

I made this post on another thread, maybe it could help you out if you haven't figured out the issue.

"Hey guys so I found a simple fix that works for me, maybe it could help some of you out. Click on settings, then go to the audio section. From there, disable all of your microphones in their respective drop down lists and press apply. Then reselect your microphones in the drop down lists and press apply once again. Basically forcing the microphones to reinitialize seem to have fixed it for me.

The cause of the problem for me is using multiple profiles. I have a profile set for recording and a profile set for streaming. When I set up my mics for the streaming profile, they stop working for my recording profile until I disable and reenable all of them.

Hopefully this helps someone out!"

After about of an hour of trying to fix my mic not working, this worked! Thank you so much! Anyone wondering, I use a Blue Snowball as my microphone.
