So I'm completely stumped on this issue. Basically ever since I got a new USB 3.0 capture card (The Live Gamer Extreme upgraded from the Live Gamer Portable) I get random audio cracking/pops every now and again from my microphone audio.
At first I thought it was my USB audio interface that was the problem (Focusrite 2i2) but even with new drivers and after borrowing another 2i2 from a friend to test, the issue still persisted. I tried messing with different audio bitrates, resolutions fresh installs, everything but nothing seemed to work. It wasn't until I did a couple tests after removing my capture card as a video capture device source that I noticed the issues disappeared.
So is there anything I can do to solve this issue? It's seeming to me that the capture card is causing some type of interference with my microphone/usb audio interface. Maybe it's due to it being a USB 3.0 card and drawing too much power and not leaving enough for my microphone to use? I've been losing my mind trying to diagnosis this issue for the past couple of weeks, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Should also note that it's only my microphone that is effected, the game audio is completely fine.
