I know that this has been posted before and I'm sorry if there's a simple solution that I've overlooked but I can't seem to figure this out and I'm very new to all of this, so any help would be much appreciated.
OBS Log: https://obsproject.com/logs/uzwU1GCvN62M6Gl_
Specs:
i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
16GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU
64-bit Operating System
Windows 10
Info:
I run the game at 1920x1080 resolution, lowest graphics and get a stable 90-120 fps (a bit slower when recording) (V-Sync off). "Video" settings in OBS are both 1920x1080, "Output" bitrate is 2500Kbps. Also I record the footage in the form of mkv and then remux it to mp4 for editing.
I've been getting constant microfreezes when trying to record gameplay (Rocket League) using display capture. The freezes occur every 5 seconds or so and last about 1 second each, where I'll be stuck on the still image before it jumps to the current frame. These happen in-game while recording (usually occur), and also in Lightworks when I'm previewing the clips while editing (always occur). The only time the footage doesn't freeze like this is when I view it using PotPlayer, which was suggested on another forum post.
Thanks for your time!
